COVID-19 UPDATE - MEMBERS BAR & RESTAURANT
We are pleased to announce that the Members Bar & Restaurant is now open.
In line with the Governments latest guidelines we have had to make some temporary changes to the way we operate to ensure the safety and well being of all our Members and our Staff .
The hours which the Members Bar will be opening have been changed as follows:
Monday
12 noon to 3pm
Tuesday to Thursday
12 noon to 3pm
Members Only 6pm - 11pm
Friday
12 noon to 3pm
Members Only 3pm to 11pm
Saturdays & Sundays
12 noon to 11pm
In line with the Tier 2 restrictions anybody using the Members Bar must now purchase a main meal upon arrival in order to consume Alcohol. We will be offering a normal Lunchtime menu during the week and in addition to this we will be offering a limited menu in the evenings and at weekends. Additional Alcoholic drinks may be purchased until you have finished your meal.
We will still be operating on a first come first serve basis and there will be a maximum capacity in place so although we will be doing our best to fit as many Members in as we can please be prepared that we may not be able to accommodate you on arrival. At this time we will only be accommodating Members in the evenings and at weekends so if you haven't renewed your membership you will be asked to do so on arrival
We will be operating a one way system through the Centre & Members Bar so please take note of any signage directing you accordingly. We also ask that all people entering the centre use the hand sanitizing station at the entrance. The Toilets will be open but will be limited to two people at any one time and it is now mandatory to wear a face covering in a Community Centre and when in a pub or restaurant at all times except when seated at your table.
On arrival we will ask you to sign in using the NHS app where able so that we comply with Track & Trace. This is now a legal requirement. The maximum table size will be six and everybody sat at a table indoors needs to be from the same household or bubble. The rule of 6 applies to the outside seating. We ask that you remain at your designated tables at all times and that you do not move the chairs and tables around. In line with the latest guidelines we will be operating a table service only. Please do not queue at the bar.
As promised the Committee has decided that the current Membership year will be extended to expire on 31st July 2021. They have also extended the renewal period allowing current Members that have not yet renewed the chance to do so at the discounted price of £17.50.
